Description:
Training will focus on: basic and intermediate concepts and strategies to understand and manage potentially destructive behaviors of adults and children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Material includes:
- meanings and messages of behavior
- functional assessment
- gathering meaningful data
- forming and utilizing Behavior Support Plans
Who should attend? HIGHLY recommended (often REQUIRED) for anyone who wants to work effectively, safely and humanely with individuals with behavior support needs.
