Description:

Training will focus on: basic and intermediate concepts and strategies to understand and manage potentially destructive behaviors of adults and children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Material includes:

  • meanings and messages of behavior
  • functional assessment
  • gathering meaningful data
  • forming and utilizing Behavior Support Plans

Who should attend?  HIGHLY recommended (often REQUIRED) for anyone who wants to work effectively, safely and humanely with individuals with behavior support needs.

Directions:

Off Stark/Washington, 7-10 blocks east of I-205. Park free in lot across street or near Big Lots & Acapulco Restaurant.
