We all have a role in supporting the sexual health of youth experiencing I/DD! This introductory training will provide a foundation to help teams build comfort, confidence and skill in supporting the sexual health of young people experiencing I/DD by providing rights-based, person-centered and holistic sexual health education. Participants of this introductory training will have opportunities to attend advanced workshops in the future.

This training is designed for people who work to support young people (ages 14-21) experiencing I/DD in the Tri-County area. These supporters could be family members, friends, caregivers, support service providers or coordinators, teachers, healthcare providers, etc. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend with another member of a support team. Teams will receive priority at registration!
