Pain and discomfort has a profound effect on our lives, yet there has been, to date, very limited information on the actual relationship between pain and behavior. This SPD approved (for 6 hours of training credit) presentation will summarize current research into the causes of pain and behavior, the various treatment methods of the past, and new, innovative and integrated approaches. Participants will be presented with ideas for assessment, innovative program development and tracking of pain-related behavior, as well as current research in extended pain.
