OIS is both a certification program and a philosophy of positive behavior supports. It’s designed to equip support-providers in the developmental disability community. It is a class about human behavior, with a focus on how to support people who put themselves or others at risk.

To obtain certification, participants must meet several standards that include proficiency at evasion, deflection and escape skills.

[Note: You must wear sturdy shoes that fully cover the foot and clothing that allows full movement.]
