9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (BOTH days).
OIS is an intensive training/certification program and process for implementing Positive Behavior Support and safe intervention when addressing challenging behavior. This class focuses on supports for adults and children with intellectual or developmental disabilities in the home or community.
You will take the Gladstone exit off of 205 then head west on 82nd Ave. Turn right on Oatfield Road, then right on Webster Road, then right on Cason Road. When you turn from Webster on to Cason Road, you will see several signs for Somerset. The first is Somerset Lodge, pass that one. The second is Somerset Assisted Living. There are two entrances to Somerset Assisted Living. Go past the main entrance. The second entrance doesn’t have much signage but that is the one you want. Our training room is on the lower level of the building and a small sign out front says Gladstone Enrichment Center. I recommend planning extra time on the morning of Day 1 so that we can start on time.
**Important: You can park in any open parking spots in the back parking lot. But please avoid parking in the main entrance parking lot reserved for residents and their guests.**
