Description:
Participants will learn about the ISP team appointed Health Care Representative process for individuals receiving 24-hour residential, adult foster care and supported living services.
This training will cover:
- Assessing whether an individual is capable of making health care decisions
- The requirements for identifying and appointing an ISP-team appointed Health Care Representative (HCR)
- The process for a team appointed HCR to make medical decisions on behalf of an individual
- The limitations on decision making authority for a team appointed HCR
