Description:

In this Roundtable we’ll be discussing how to make and use visual materials to help boost both receptive communication (what we’d like someone else to understand) and expressive communication (what someone else might want us to understand). The use of visual supports and strategies can enhance communication for everyone, but is particularly helpful for supporting individuals with limited or no spoken language. We’ll cover a broad range of strategies that can be adapted and individualized for everyone you support.
