The Behavior Roundtables will be monthly (second Tuesday), small group (registration is capped at 15), interactive, lunch hour workshops addressing various behavioral challenges commonly occurring in individuals with I/DD.

Gain a greater understanding of specific behaviors or challenging situations, why it might be occurring and the various possible communications of a behavior. Learn that behavior is a “two-way street”, that our behavior impacts that of others and vice versa. Leave with some practical strategies for supporting change.

Since these are intended to be interactive sessions each one will allow at least an hour for questions and discussion encouraging “comparing notes” and offering support and suggestions to each other. It is hoped participants will feel empowered to make changes in the way they may support individuals they work with as well as better understanding situations that may require additional support from a behavior consultant.
