Description:

We’ll be discussing developing nonverbal communication supports using pictures, drawing, writing, etc. This session serves as a follow-up to March’s session on communication (although it’s not a prerequisite.) We’ll look at creating low-cost/no-cost visual structure: schedules, choice boards, work systems, etc. This session may be of particular interest to those who support people who are non-speaking – either always or at times – as well as individuals with ASD, intellectual disabilities and/or attention difficulties.
